Get the dust off your clubs!!!!  The 2013 season is about to start.  The weather has kept us inside this winter longer than normal, and we are all itching to get started!!! Looks like this weekend will be the start of another fun season.

What are your equipment plans for the new year?  Are you starting to believe the golf club companies claims about equipment being "longer"? If not, you should. Materials and technology have allowed the manufacturers to design and build true game improvement clubs.   Just about every manufacturer has it. Sandy Creek is scheduled to do our spring aerifying on April 23. It is a necessary evil, and one that will help the greens stay in great shape during the hot summer months. Mark that on your calendar, as the course will not be open.

Our first big 2 Man tournament from last September was such a big success, we are having another this fall. Be on the lookout for the 3rd weekend in September, grab a partner and pencil in Sept 21 and 22.

Benefit Scramble for Friends of Casey!
On June 15, (Saturday) Sandy Creek will be hosting a golf scramble to benefit one of Sandy Creek's favorite people,   Casey Sparks and his family. Casey has suffered some major medical setbacks recently, and we want to provide some help.
   This is a 4 man scramble format, bring your own team, $50 per man. Call the golf shop if you are interested in playing.
   If you can't play, we are certainly welcoming all donations!! Anything over $50 will get listed in the "donar's recognition" listing. We appreciate anything you can offer.

We like to think that Sandy Creek Golf Course is the Tri-State's most golfer friendly course. It is a place where you can have a great time, pay a fair price and not spend the entire day traveling around our 18 holes. Although our layout is shorter than some local courses, plenty of excitement awaits you out here at Sandy Creek. We are bordered by the East Fork of the Little Sandy River. So get ready for some adventures with water. The greens are small and sometimes sneaky. Even when some of the best local amateurs have held tournaments here, low scoring was at a minimum. Just when you think you have got a birdie going, you may have to think again. So get ready to exercise your best strategy and accuracy or you will be replaying favorite holes in your mind for hours.

This is also a course where beginners can find their game and grow to love golf with a passion. We have poured energy into introducing youngsters and all members of the family to our great game.
